Sputterdoll is "kind of" back. Never really went away, just laid low and enjoyed life outside of Sputterdoll. We'll be doing a show here and there, dates shall be posted as they get booked. Music might be recorded, and made available as mp3s only. Better than nothing, right? See ya around.
SPUTTERDOLL is a San Francisco band, consisting of Rio on vocals/bass, Bern on vocals/drums, Lizzie on vocals/guitar, Dennis on guitar/vocals, and Matt on guitar/keyboard/vocals. Since 2001, Sputterdoll has been touring the west coast (Washington, Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona), been featured in numerous compilations, and are active participants in many showcases, benefit events and all kinds of parties. Their sound reminds critics of 80s and east coast punk and a whole lot of other bands (Operation Ivy, Minor Threat, Screeching Weasel, The Ramones, The Eyeliners, Green Day, etc).
Highlights in the band's history includes: stint on Warped Tour 2005, 3 independent tours, 2 releases, several compilations, merchandise have been included as contest giveaways with notable bands, radio airplay (Live 105 and other college/internet stations) and TV appearances (The Filipino Channel's youth program "SpeakOut" and KTSF's "Night Shift").
The B-cups trannylicious video for their signature song "CWD" is premiering as the Cups open for THE DICKIES at the Red Devil Lounge April 9.
