| General | Football, Birmingham City FC, Films, Music, going out with my friends, loads of stuff really. I also read quite a lot, and have a strange interest in local history. It's more of a bizarre illness rather than an interest i just can't help myself if someone tells me a housing estate used to be a farm or something i have to look it up and learn about it ... honestly, it's not as weird as it sounds ...
I also play guitar and am looking to start a new project in the summer after spliting with my band after 7 years. | | Music | Sooo Many!! The Smiths, Morrisey, Idlewild, Hefner, Pearl Jam, Muse, Radiohead, ... i could go on all day! | | Movies | Er ... Have a strange interest in modern war films (i know i'm sounding weird now!) Downfall, Conspiracy, Seen Crash recently that was good. | | Television | Oh dear ... The apprentice, most haunted (for the comedy value alone), simpsons, Malcolm in the middle, Family guy, Mighty boosh, The smoking room, early doors, | | Books | Loads ... Harry Potter,( though i'm getting a bit sick of it now), anything by Hunter S Thompson (i'll go back and put him in heros actually), That 'Curious Dog ...' Book was good. I could be here all day again. | | Heroes | Richard Herring, he's great. Have a look at Richardherring.com, the "Warming Up" section is top. Rob Newman, Mark Thomas, Hunter S Thompson, dunno really ... these are just people i admire for their work i suppose. I don't really have a 'hero' as such ... Superman, does he count? |
