About Squeeze.Theeze.Pleeze

Squeeze.Theeze.Pleeze were founded in 1998 and hail from the sunny climes of Portugal. Founded by P Fonseca (guitar) and Farinha (bass), who had previously collaborated twice before, they were soon joined by Pedro Assalino who sings lead vocals. Last to join the band, but not least, came Johny Boy on electronics. He arrived in time to record their second album, Flatline.10 years on and they are still going strong. Musically Squeeze.Theeze.Pleeze have many influences which range from Incubus to the Foo Fighters, but also take their cues from dance and electronic music. But their wider environment also provides a lot of inspiration when it comes to writing new material. The Brazilian and the Portuguese crowd also got to know and love the tunes through various TV programs, which introduced Squeeze.Theeze.Pleeze. Nothing beats the thrill the boys get from playing live though, their live appearances always being fun and party. To get an idea, a lot of footage can be seen on You Tube. Have fun!! When they aren’t rocking out, the guys love nothing more than supporting their favourite football club SL Benfica. This along with a cold beer and "Tremoços" (a Portuguese appetizer) make for the perfect down time in their eyes. The latest album ‘ One life is not enough’ is dedicated to those who never quit their dreams…so come along and enjoy!

Everything well? :-)I’ve been experimenting a bit with my music in the last weeks and, this time, the Northamerican male singer Jon Davidson (www. myspace. com/jondavidsonmusic) has given me the chance to remix his track ‘Hermit Crab’. Jon is a rock singer so I think the best thing I could do is making a kind of breakbeat style mixed with my classical trance and electro music. I haven’t produced thinking about dancefloors this time (strange cos I’m a dj but it’s a bit hard to dance at 105 bpm, hehe):-P Anyway, I’m looking forward to read your feedbacks, good or bad to keep on improving my style in the future.
