About Sam Reid & The Riot Act
Sam Reid & the Riot Act delivers their own brand of live acoustic music. Influenced and continually inspired by traditional Irish/Scottish/Appalachian fiddle tunes and the rhythms of the vast Caribbean Sea, Sam grew up flatpicking bluegrass guitar outside of Boston and joined up with Johnny R. while the two were members of country/punk outfit Three Day Threshold. Mando whiz A. Aaron Goff lends fiery mando pickin' to the mix and, voila (or, walla! a riot.. Holla!) Gettysburg, PA's own JC Campbell holds it all together with hypnotizing drums which make it nearly impossible not to stomp yer feet.

Early Spring 2009 marks the release of the band's debut cd:

I might be able to start to play again next week.
I will be in North Carolina- otherwise I would come and throw rotten tomatoes at you.

I will send someone in my stead.
