Generally, however, I like non-fiction reading material the best.Heroes
Definitely, my late Mom. She passed away from a grueling and long-standing battle with cancer back in June of 2002. She fought hard and valiantly like a trooper, but eventually succumbed to the terrible disease. She will be remembered as a very kind and selfless person who always thought about others first...a rare quality to find these days. In memory of her, I've dedicated my profile page. I know she would have been happy and perhaps she's even looking down from above and smiling at me now.

About me:
Now, let me see?...is this the part where I get to brag about myself and play things up a bit? I guess this is it, right? I'm only kidding! Well, for starters, good to know you! My name is Paul and I want to say that I think I'm sort of addicted to Myspace...lol! I've been told I've got a pretty good sense of humor. I've been known to be sarcastic, can be a "funny" smart-ass type of joker at times. Yep, I've got a pretty keen sense of wit and humor, so deal with it if you dare. I've got an amazing talent, which allows me to easily tolerate dumbshits, boneheads, ignorant people, narrow-minded people, overly judgmental people, annoying people, people who think they're the greatest miracle (since the invention of sliced bread) that has ever hit the face of the universe, stupid people, jerks, morons, etc. I generally like the outdoors and Summer is my favorite time of year. I enjoy activities such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, volleyball, tennis, the beach, Grand National Rodeo, PBR, short weekend trips to the coast; i.e., Carmel, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, Capitola, etc. I also like Lake Tahoe in the Summer, Las Vegas is a blast too. Virginia City, NV...what an awesome place to hang out in if you like the "Old" West. I enjoy taking wine tasting tours in Napa and Sonoma Valley, The annual Garlic Festival in Gilroy is a total blast. I'm originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but was raised right here in the San Francisco Bay Area...Redwood City to be exact. I like going to stand-up comedy shows...just another one of my favorite things to do. I like to make people smile and if I can get some laughter out of you, then I think I've fulfilled one of my missions. I've been on Myspace for several months now and I'd like to meet new female friends to chat and connect with...maybe even meet in-person someday...who knows. I like intelligent women who have a good sense of humor and that are as ambitious and energetic as I am to meet new people. I guess I get some sort of energy rush out of it...lol! Easy-going people are the best. I consider myself this a pretty easy to get along with type of guy (I take after my late Mom in this respect.) I don't really lack motivation and confidence as I'm in a stage in my life where I'm just so burnt out and tired of just "dating." The dating scene is fine and dandy and I don't mind it occasionally, but I'm at a stage where I'm looking for a little more out of my life and fill the voids to make me feel whole and complete. I can carry a pretty interesting and stimulating conversation and I'm not your typical "BORING" average type of guy. Like to think "outside the box" and try to live unconventional modes...lol! So tired of the usual clubbing scene because I've been there and done that many times before. Don't get me wrong though because I still like to go out and have a good time like most other people, but I guess I'd like to find good people to hook-up with and maybe finally settle one day. Well, I don't want to write a 1000 page novel about me here, but if you have any specific questions for me, you know what to do. ..Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Lightning / Comments

Who I'd like to meet:
Well, DUH! How about real, normal people for once...LOL! I don't think that is asking too much. I'm so tired of the bullshit headgames. Sorry, been there done that and yes, like I said, I'm so done with it. Unfortunately, there are just too many fake profiles on here. Obviously, they lack authenticity and to be quite honest, I'm not the least bit interested in this type of superficial nonsense. I have no time to waste with these kinds of people. I can't stress enough the importance of integrity, honesty, and straight forwardness for any given relationship. These are just a few important qualities I look for in people and they definitely represent significant value to me. Let me just say that if you're the type who somehow gets off on using people and treating everybody like they are simply disposable creatures, then find somewhere else to go because you're just barking up the wrong tree. All I have to say to users is thank you very much, but simply I'm not interested in your low life drama. Liars and cheaters are completely worthless in my estimation and have no business applying!!! Okay, now that we've cleared the air on this issue and hopefully together on the same page, I totally dig people with a good sense of humor. I have a tendency to be sarcastic at times and like to joke around a bit. Having said that, please don't be angry or upset at me if I yank your chain once in awhile. If I do, it just simply means you're my friend, so take it in good stride and be a good sport about it! People who are fun and like to enjoy themselves and have the ambition, motivation and drive to meet new people is of the utmost importance. I think that's the fundamental philosophy and foundation for being part of the MySpace experience. Pleasant people with a generally good attitude and reasonable outlook on life would be nice. Oh, and have I already mentioned that HOOCHIE MAMAS OR HEFFERS NEED NOT APPLY?!?! LOL!!!! Other than that, all these culinary heroes would be quite interesting to meet: Rachael Ray, Sandra Lee, Paula Deen, Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali, Giada De Laurentiis, Cat Cora, Tyler Florence, Alton Brown, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Jamie Oliver, Martin Yan, Jacques Pepin, Lydia Matticchio Bastianich and Ming Tsai.Details
