"I just wanted to put into words how fantastic last night's show by STAN at The Three Tuns was. They were absolutely wonderful. Every song was an original and each one a classic. It's incredible that a crowd weaned on rock covers could respond so passionately to a band playing their own material and I don't think one person left before the end of the show. STAN are a very very good band and if you want to book a class act for your venue I'd suggest you take a look at www.myspace.com/stanmyspace before they're fully booked. The guys confirmed last night that they are officially available right now for bookings and whether you're a venue owner, promoter or music fan that has to be very good news indeed." "The depth of Colin's songwriting ability - unquestionably among the very best I have ever heard - is amazing. Reviewing their "Into The Sun" album I commented that if you took Tim Finn, Elvis Costello and Paddy Mc.Aloon and placed them in a locked room overnight with an ounce of grass and a bottle of Jack Daniels, this is what the result would sound like.
Live the band are laid back and relaxed and show every bit of talent displayed on record. Vocals are full of expression and the guitarist has an amazing feel, backline solid and rhythmic and the songs lend themself very well to the intimate setting that gigs like the Tuns provide. They went down a storm last night and had a very respectable turnout, most of whom stayed even though the band did not finish playing till near midnight...
...As I'm sure you all know, rock and metal are my staple diet yet even an old headbanger like me cannot help but appreciate quality when he hears it, and that's Stan in one word - QUALITY"

Nothing worse than your spouse commenting on your behalf when they think they're logged in. Anyhow, what I wanted to say is are you on Amazingtunes.com? That way you reach your target audience, and you get AIRPLAY! Albeit on a digital astation, gotta be worth a go. My friend's band went on and they were on the air the next day. I'm on but I am musically challenged so it may be a while before I get anything out. (oo er missus!). Best of luck, probably see you at the Black Bull in Blaydon.
Thanks for the add. Saw you at the Cavern a few years ago 'Rockin'. Glad to hear you have now reformed. Hope to see you all again sometime in the North East. "Keep on Rocking" x
