Formed in late 2003, Starting Over hit the Northwest scene hot in 2004, tearing up stages on both sides of the cascades. Remaining a three-piece kept the music & message clear as Brian Howard, Andrew Wallender and Jake West began writing new material together in a Spokane, WA basement. Their debut EP "Picking Up The Pieces" is a Northwest punk staple, and with several strong regional shows under their belt, Starting Over had made their mark on the scene. This led to the landing of shows with bands such as A Wilhelm Scream (Nitro), The Swellers (Fueled By Ramen), Strike Anywhere (Fat Wreck Chords), Smoke Or Fire (Fat Wreck Chords), The Loved Ones (Fat Wreck Chords), Time Again (Hellcat), Marky Ramone, Love Me Destroyer (Suburban Home), The Phenomenauts (Springman), Authority Zero, and Splitting Seconds (Lorelei). They will be hitting the studio again soon to record tracks for a split 7" with Seattle's finest Jaded 52, which will be available near the end of summer. With extensive touring planned and a new split to be released sometime in the distant future, watch for Starting Over to hit a city near you.

haha. i remember that. sorry we didn't talk to all yall. we were sitting right next to you watching the other bands before you guys...i just didn't remember until you took stage, so i kinda felt like an ass. but yeah, we will always support bands with like minded influences and musicians who play with eachother, in time, with melody. haha. tough scene out there for punk right now, don't you agree?
good job last night. i think most of the kids were shocked because you were playing actual notes and you were all playing in unison and on time. i don't think they were ready for it, to be truthful. we look forward to playing a show with you soon. we're aiming for mid august.
