This label is my way of keeping sane/insane, an attempt to at least contribute something positive to a sea of contrived, derivative, melodramatic nonsense currently being force fed to the public. I do not think that the ethics forged by early 80's Hardcore bands are unrealistic to apply to how a person runs a label. money will NEVER be a motivation for me to do this, I work a regular job to support this and all my time and effort goes into making this the best it can be. This is NOT a Hardcore label although I will be releasing records by Hardcore bands, it just is what it is...

This is also my personal page as I view the label as a forum and voice for promoting great art or venting my spleen, I'm pretty much morally sound, I strongly oppose organised Religion. I would like to encourage progressive ways of problem solving and encourage people to learn and think for themselves.

I'm only releasing music that I personally like and can stand behind 100%, every day I seem to get requests from a dozen or so unsigned metalcore bands, each member with a $200 flock Of Seagulls haircut, professional make-up, professional photo shoots and about 20 different T-shirt designs... yet they only have a 3-track demo recorded, I am in no way interested in your band - I don't want to hear your crappy band or look at you in your girl pants and eyeliner.
All I want is to put out music by bands and artists that are doing this for all the right reasons and people that truly deserve the support - NOT spoilt rich kids playing dress-up and appalingly rehashing "classic" rock for knuckle dragging idiots (Jet, Wolfmother etc). I want to present the Avant-Garde without the elitist snobbishness or the nerd lunacy of your average Sunn 0))) obsessive fan, I Want to release cerebral, Challenging Heavy music and music from any "Genre" (not that I care about genres) that moves me and gets my blood flowing.... it will be a musically schizophrenic label for sure.

I just hope that I help people discover good music, get inspired and use their imagination in a usefull manner.. I do not support the dumbing down of society through religion, the gradual decay of the school system and reality jackass shit on TV.. people should not be sat in front of a screen all day looking for the least bad thing to watch...

Static Migration 001: The first release is a compilation, from years and years of making mixtapes to impress girls I have honed the art of the compilation and I believe this reflects that... it has a structure, a flow and how well this has come together is nothing short of miraculous.. especially considering that most of these songs were recorded for this comp, unreleased or previously impossible to find.. I can wholeheartedly say that everyone appearing on the album have been a pleasure to deal with, absolutely bullshit-free, genuine, generous and just damn GOOD PEOPLE, support them, see them, buy their albums, sleep with them buy them drinks and get them high... but seriously, SUPPORT THEM, Please. this album is the soundtrack to the best film yet to be made.

This label is my way of keeping sane/insane, an attempt to at least contribute something positive to a sea of contrived, derivative, melodramatic nonsense currently being force fed to the public. I do not think that the ethics forged by early 80's Hardcore bands are unrealistic to apply to how a person runs a label. money will NEVER be a motivation for me to do this, I work a regular job to support this and all my time and effort goes into making this the best it can be. This is NOT a Hardcore label although I will be releasing records by Hardcore bands, it just is what it is...

This is also my personal page as I view the label as a forum and voice for promoting great art or venting my spleen, I'm pretty much morally sound, I strongly oppose organised Religion. I would like to encourage progressive ways of problem solving and encourage people to learn and think for themselves.

I'm only releasing music that I personally like and can stand behind 100%, every day I seem to get requests from a dozen or so unsigned metalcore bands, each member with a $200 flock Of Seagulls haircut, professional make-up, professional photo shoots and about 20 different T-shirt designs... yet they only have a 3-track demo recorded, I am in no way interested in your band - I don't want to hear your crappy band or look at you in your girl pants and eyeliner.
All I want is to put out music by bands and artists that are doing this for all the right reasons and people that truly deserve the support - NOT spoilt rich kids playing dress-up and appalingly rehashing "classic" rock for knuckle dragging idiots (Jet, Wolfmother etc). I want to present the Avant-Garde without the elitist snobbishness or the nerd lunacy of your average Sunn 0))) obsessive fan, I Want to release cerebral, Challenging Heavy music and music from any "Genre" (not that I care about genres) that moves me and gets my blood flowing.... it will be a musically schizophrenic label for sure.

I Will NOT be focussing on local artists, If there is a great local band and they want to work with me then that is cool but I have no interest in specifically concentrating on music from one particular area... 99% of all bands WHEREVER you are in the world are FUCKING SHIT, its finding the good ones that is the challenge and one of things that gives me the most happiness in life, for every Converge there are 99 Atreyu's...
I just hope that I help people discover good music, get inspired and use their imagination in a usefull manner.. I do not support the dumbing down of society through religion, the gradual decay of the school system and reality jackass shit on TV.. people should not be sat in front of a screen all day looking for the least bad thing to watch...

Static Migration 001: The first release is a compilation, from years and years of making mixtapes to impress girls I have honed the art of the compilation and I believe this reflects that... it has a structure, a flow and how well this has come together is nothing short of miraculous.. especially considering that most of these songs were recorded for this comp, unreleased or previously impossible to find.. I can wholeheartedly say that everyone appearing on the album have been a pleasure to deal with, absolutely bullshit-free, genuine, generous and just damn GOOD PEOPLE, support them, see them, buy their albums, sleep with them buy them drinks and get them high... but seriously, SUPPORT THEM, Please. this album is the soundtrack to the best film yet to be made.
