(a little different - but quite refreshing)
Born September 9, 1981 in Atlanta, GA.
Moved to Los Angeles in 2004 to teach music.
Since 2005 I've been performing my own music in Coffee Shops and Bars around LA and Atlanta.
I would like to expand to playing through-out the US and beyond.
So, if you know of a place and would like me to perform please let me know and I am happy to eblige.
I started singing at birth. Joined school and community chorus' and choirs by the age of 8. Picked up a guitar at age 10 and immediately started writing my own songs. But it took until I was in my early 20's for me to perform them for people. After being urged by my new friends in LA I started attending local open-mic nights and to my surprise people wanted me to play shows. So, here I am and now I do.
I have been working on my first record. This is completely new for me and though it's a long and sometimes tedious process I'm really enjoying hearing my music in an all new way. I am always looking for new people to play music with and add another layer of depth. I am a sucker for loops and dynamic sounds that i can get lost in.
My music is mostly written about the lowest points of love when you feel like giving up or at the turning point when you gather strength and realize you just have to get past the pain and the hurt.
I think every girl can relate to that.
I am a sucker for emotional ballads when i listen to a record I always tend to gravitate to that sad, emotionally drenched track (normally the ballads).
I kinda think all my tracks are like that....
but I'd much rather you tell me what you think.
please feel free to leave me comments...
I really do treasure your opinons
thank you for listening.
xoxo
Zach and I have 2 Jewish Music side projects
Shabbos Underground: - a rockin' jam band style shabbat service for young adults and 20-30 Somethings
and also Gesher(means bridge) where we are playing private parties and events (including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, etc)
Jewish Music has had a very large impact on my life - my first singing gig was in 2nd grade at my synagouge... I feel the Jewish Music Movement has really always supported me and nurtured my love for music.

Hey Stephanie Pressman, you are the power and presence of Love creating all of this. It's not real. It's completely made up. You are amazing for convincing yourself that any of this was real! Nice work. It's a very convincing illusion. I feel totally real.
