Sounds Like
Yes, Genesis, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett, Rush, Renaissance, Mike Oldfield, Jethro Tull, Camel and Strawbs are some of the artists I've been compared to. But I'm unique, of course. My writing style takes in all these influences, mixes them up with my classical leanings and romantic idealism and...well, give it a listen.
I am a self-taught guitarist/vocalist/songwriter who entered the musical arena with grand artistic ambitions. Throughout the 90s, I released a trilogy of albums bearing a trademark epic style. “A kick in the uplifting end of our soul” - Heroes Awaken (1991). “Musically invigorating and compositionally dynamic” - To See It Made Real (1995). "A symphonic prog lover's wet dream" - The Purest of Designs (1998). These were typical comments, along with favourable reviews and considerable airplay throughout Europe, various pockets in the US and in Quebec.
Fast-forward to the current century and a new album called With Or Without, which takes a leaner song-based approach with emphasis on acoustic guitar and vocals. Still, the prog/art rock influences shine through in the intricate arrangements, fluid guitar stylings and in the lyrics, which are often surrealistic and philosophical.

Just popping in to say Hello and see what's going on. Wishing all is OK with you!! Take care my friend, God bless you and your loved ones. Have yourself a wonderfully calm / relaxing LONG Weekend.
Well, well, well, what an Honour. Thank you for taking the time to stop by, delighted. It was wonderful to see you preform at Timothy's Sunday night. Seven Stones did an amazing job and you were transformed into someone completely different. Nice to know that you will be returning, we will definitely see you there. Take care my friend, may God bless you and yours.
Hi Steve, nice to hear from you again. Your new album, well these 4 tracks from it, certainly sound different from previous releases. You seem to have captured a somewhat retro feel, around about the time of the early 70's Strawbs Hero & Heroine/Ghost period with a touch of Genesis Peter Gabriel era thrown in. I think this is down to the tone of your voice, phrasing and lyric construction, your voice for sure harks back to Dave Cousins and Jon Anderson. The use of the acoustic guitar arranged within the complexities is certainly a pointer to the aforesaid influences. If the rest of the album is of similar quality then "With Or Without" is a great addition to your catalogue.
Just popping in to say hello and see how are you doing? Wishing everything is alright in your neck of the woods. Take care my friend and may God keep you and yours blessed. Have yourself a calm/relaxing weekend.
Stay well, and always happy! With Respect and Admiration.
