Former British session guitarist Steve is the front man with the blues/rock band Red Star Rising and was classically trained, studying guitar and lute at the Guildhall School of Music in London under the late German guitar teacher Madam Adele Kramer. Steve later adapted his classical style to folk, playing regularly at the famous Cousins Folk Club in Greek Street, London. He worked as a session guitarist and went on to play clubs, festivals and tour, both in his own right and with a range of bands.
As a writer, Steve has released a number of albums over the years and has, most recently, worked with his daughter Sammy, who is currently based in Spain check out her site here. Steve writes acoustic material, original songs in a rock blues style for Red Star Rising and is a sound designer for multimedia projects. He is also a photojournalist. He is currently based in Lamma Island, near Hong Kong (check out this site).
Steve, thank you for your note. You have quite the story and wonderful music. I hope Hong Kong is treating you as well as you deserve. All respect, Leah
