I'm a solo bedroom recording artist recording on an 8 track and love all creative song based music.Don't like to be limited by genre, but i'm probably acousticelectricpsychedelicfolkpop i guess if its gotta be narrowed down..
I live in a 24/7 fantasy music bubble in a flat in Birmingham UK and like going for long walks in the sunshine making up songs in my head.. when i'm not sitting at the computer surfing and getting red eye..
I used to play rythm guitar and sing in a band called Special Needs and am part of a wonderfully fun lofi acoustic duo called The Davies Ison Project.
My first solo album 'The Stars Are Never Really Distant' released Dec '06
Its available to BUY from ..

THE MUSIC IS THE MESSAGE...THE MUSIC IS THE MESSAGE..THE MUSIC IS THE MESSAGE...
Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!
There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."
Hey Man; 'Hope all is good in your world. 'Just wanted to say that "Girl On The Train" is still one of my fave tunes. It goes particularly well with the sudden autumny weather we're having here now.
Haven't been on myspace for ages...not much change, lol.I'm putting in a request for some new Ison tracks...with Circles and Former Lives at the top of the list. And you were being paranoid your set sounded really gr8 at Om Sera...Mr.Ison playing again at the spotted dog,Digbeth,Birmingham,14/11/09...Think your American fans should come over especially, lol ;)Much love and admiration, the Colliestarsxxxx
Hi Steve, Sunday @12-00am ? Unfortunately this date clashes with Blues V Villa local football derby I have a prior appointment it seems However i hope someone turns up to see the Musical Connections Crew Maybe bump into you later on that day
Hi, Steve. I found you on YouTube and had a listen to your Brazilian 60s and 70s playlists. Excellent. Love the big orchestrations of Tom Zé and Jorge Ben. I put them in Spotify.com and have been listening to more of their stuff. Some of the more modern stuff of Tom Zé is well wierd. What you doing 3 August? You, Steve D and me round mine?
The gig was ace cheers, Ste. Possibly a couple of thousand people there. All ignoring us! Hope Collette's open-mic night was good. It was pretty wet out so I stayed at the party. We'll have to get together with Steve D for a recording / writing / whatever session some time soon.
Everything is going to be alright. Please no worries about CD, I will buy tracks from you when I get back from America and it's so worth it because I receive a great deal of magic and immense benefit listening to your work so stick that in your pipe and smoke it !!!
Always thinking radiant thoughts of you. Please don't forget how much you mean to so many...
