Lets be frank if it wasnt for Desdemona-then the music (Local) scene seriously would not be what it is now. There would be Pete and the Pirates, no Laura Marling, no Beggars and so on. They are main stayers of the Reading music scene. The great late John Peel loved them. The Germans still do. They basically run the umber cool/sassy music publication Artrocker.
