Hello there, thanks for swingin' by my Myspace page. What can I say about myself? I like to write songs. I love to cook. I have a wonderful wife and some amazing friends. I love my family and I miss them, they all live in Fort MacMurray. I have a lovely manager named Lynn who will get slightly miffed when she sees I've hijacked the bio information from this Myspace page (you can read my bio stuff at www.sonicbids.com/stevenbowers). I've uploaded some tracks from my new EP. It's called 'Circadian Anthem'. I released a full length album last year called 'Homing'. I named it after my friend Stephanie Domet's novel of the same name, she asked me to write a promotional blurb for her and I did, and I also fell in love with the book and the story. Check it out. Below are some videos from our CD launch of 'Homing', as well as a video I shot with my friend Steve Yorke as part of the Atlantic Film Festival 10x10 program. If you'd like to buy some of my music, you can do so at www.stevenbowers.com. Thanks for coming by.
thank you for the lovely comment you left on my page! I was sad to hear that the MNS Open Mic was cancelled, but I'm glad to see that you'll be the guest at the one next week. I'll be there, for sure.
Sorry I didn't get to make it out last night! I'll be checking back regularly to see when your next show will be! I hope everything went well last night.
Hey Steven, I was at the MNS Open Mic on Tuesday... I have to say, I was completely surprised when they announced that you'd be performing. I've been meaning to catch a show of yours for a while now, I missed you at Music Week. Your performance was absolutely incredible... your music makes me think of my home, gets me all sappy. You were my favorite act of the evening. Hopefully I'll get to come out tonight to the Seahorse. I know you'll be absolutely amazing!
Received this wonderful record yesterday and it is now undergoing heavy rotation in my life! Exquisite writing and so lovely to listen to.. yet another gem..
Congrats on your fab new CD "Homing", Steven. I am so proud of you! Really looking forward to hearing it all "live" at The Carleton in Halifax on Wed. Aug. 13th!
