Born in Lancashire, Steven is an organist, pianist, conductor, composer and an educator. Organ Scholar at Keble College, University of Oxford, from 1988-1991, Steven became Assistant Organist of Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral of St David for six years.
Following a stint as Organist and Master of the Choristers at Grimsby Parish Church, the only Parish Church in the UK to have its own Choir School, Steven now combines the post of Assistant Organist at Grimsby, with that of Musical Director of the Grimsby Bach Choir, and Founding Musical Director of the North East Lincolnshire Youth Choir.
