Steve McKay is from Toronto, Ontario. He has performed and recorded as drummer or whatever with the likes of Bruce Peninsula, T H O M A S, Timber Timbre and a handful of other great acts from the Greater Toronto area.
Currently, he is working on a follow up to his debut EP, Whistle, released in 2007 on Put On Your Drinking Cap Records out of Hamilton.
The new release should be ready late 2009 or early 2010 and will be released on Fuzzy Logic Recordings
That was a great set at The Drake. Channeling the ghosts of music’s past while balancing intimacy, melody and experimentation. Taking cues from the chamber pop of The Free Design, Belle & Sebastian and early High Llamas, blended with the psych-folk consciousness of late-60’s Greenwich Village or San Francisco. Sweet, gentle, burning songs for the indie-minded.
I totally just gave you your thirteen-thousandth listen. Just popped into to look for new stuff. Really enjoyed the Christmas tune I found! You would, you audiophile you.
Anyway, I thought I would let you know that I put up some new tunes with my new band. I'd love to know what you think of it. Feel free to be brutally honest :-).

It was really special for me to see Chris and Jay and Matt up there. Also that Brent Randall song was awesome! And handsome Steve McKay on the drums for Green Go to boot! A huge night, I'm still smiling. Hope to see you soon buddy!
