The diverse sound of STIMULUS RESPONSE has drawn the attention of many music fans while the movement continues to grow with each event.
Stimulus Response was originally conceived as a one-off event, held at Le Souk on Thanksgiving Eve, 2005. But for anyone there that night, the vibe and cohesion between Lola, The Urban Relief Project, and Keith Blackstone was plain to hear. The budding crew ended the night with a feeling that something special had just happened. So when the opportunity arose to do it again, we did. And did it again, and again, and again.
Stimulus Response, now in its third year, has played throughout New York City at venues including Pacha, Sullivan Room, Sol, Love, and the South Street Seaport, and has performed with and supported talent including: Tedd Patterson, Charles Webster, Miguel Migs, Cevin Fisher, DJ Exacta, Peter Bailey, Richie Santana, Oscar G, Mr. V & Miss Patty, Hector Romero, and Wally Lopez.
The defining element of Stimulus Response is our diversity. We are three DJs (four if you count The Urban Relief Project as two DJs, but we usually view them as a single unit) who together create an offering of sound and music that is at once cohesive yet totally varied. Ranging from deep and tech house to percussive drenched house, progressive, techno, soulful house, classic house, and experimental strains of dance music that can't quite be labeled, an evening with Stimulus Response is an evening dedicated to music, dance, and the love and respect of our beloved dance and nightlife culture.
Held together by the glue that is our promoter and general manager Gabe 'Silverbull' Mayorga, Stimulus Response is more than just a group of DJs: we're a family. This journey is as much one we're on as one we hope to provide to you.

In addition to Stimulus Response, all members are involved in their own projects. Many of these projects came before our involvement in Stimulus Response. Some came after. In either case, all members actively grow as contributors to the whole of Stimulus, and bring our collective 35+ years of nightlife and dance music experience and participation to the ongoing growth and development of the vibe we bring to YOU.

Lola
More than just another sexy female with headphones. Lola spent many years on dancefloors of legendary NYC clubs, soaking in the sounds and culture which influenced her to become a DJ. After years perfecting her style being part of the long-running weekly party Deep See, she's now the 1st lady of Stimulus Response. Drawing from Deep House, Deep Tech, Broken Beat, Tech House, Progressive, and Techno, Lola's wide range of musical taste makes sure theres a little something for everyone on her floor.
Sean Cormac
Sean Cormac displays as much energy in the booth as his percussive-driven sound evokes on the dance floor. Sean's detailed programming and creative compositions backed by an endless arsenal of drums creates a properly twisted symphony. His ever-evolving style continues to grow, while never straying far from his foundations in house.
Keith Blackstone
If thump is what you crave, then let Keith serve you his genre-bending sound combining Dark, Hard, Progressive, Techno, and Tribal elements. His aggressive style of play and clean mixing skills combined with continual layering of tracks creates a flow that takes you on a mind trip. Keith can be described as a hybrid of Victor Calderone, David Morales, and DJ Vibe. His original productions, featuring remixes by some of the bigger names in the industry, will guarantee his spot on the list of New York up-and-comers.
