Stina Klee's Interests
General
Faith, family, friends, living life, culture, the Earth, digital film editing ... and small things, like babies, baby animals ...anything miniature ...even miniature staplers, miniature ketchup bottles, &c.
Music
Yes. I love music, and my tastes are random. These days I'm listening to a lot of Dave Crowder, The Myriad, Over the Rhine, The Beatles, Sufjan Stevens and this Messianic Jewish Worship CD my mother-in-law bought me for Christmas. I injured my calf muscle dancing to that one.
"Horton Hears a Who", by Dr. Seuss. "Junie B. Jones Is a Party Animal", by Barbara Park. "Searching for God Knows What", Donald Miller: Favorite. And I could read Anne Lamott anytime I feel like laughing and crying in the same breath. I guess you could say I enjoy those raw faith writers who love God and banter with the church like a middle-aged siamese twin. And Rob Bell.
Heroes
Me Esposo, Me Madre, La Madre de mi Esposo, mas importante Mi Padre Dios and Ty Pennington (...just kidding, folks).
About me: My name is Christina, but my friends call me Stina/Stiner/Bo-Balina, and my family has always called me Tina (and they're the only ones who may). I'm the left-handed only-child of an urban business woman in D.C. and good ol' fashion country guy in Northern Texas. I sing. I love Jesus. My Husband is Joshua - we're in this together - my cat is Louie Armstrong - he's pretty much just cute - and I am very proud of my Filipino-American heritage - we're a short, spunky people, famous for our eggrolls.
Ok I really like this pic of you guys. And I watched your video and laughed my head off! It's so funny! Good work! I totally snagged it and put in in my "heros" section...
Awh, thank you.She did'nt have that cone-shaped head when she was born. I guess because she came out so fast! She's such a tiny little girl, I can't wait for you guys to see her!
I hope the Kleehammers had a great Easter...hope to see you guys soon too. Are there any plans to travel to the south this summer...we'll be in TN from June to early August.
Lol! It was just funny b/c as long as I've known you guys..I don't think I've ever heard Josh say anything like that. You guys are just too much fun!!! I can't wait until BEN FOLDS!!! :D
Yeah...Allison let us pick out any black dress that we wanted...so that is what I found and I am REALLY happy with it! I will definitely be able to wear it again. How are you doing these days?
Hey Stina! It's ok, I know it's always hectic trying to talk to everyone at church..no hard feelings! ;) Yes, we should all hang out soon, like even sooner than the Ben Fold's concert? :D
Sorry to bother you again, but I just read your comment to my blog and I really appreciate it..I know you and I have talked about this before, but sometimes I just feel like I have to just get it out there, ya know!? I really try my best to think in the positive, but I just want to be in the environment where the majority of the people care, but I know it's not always going to be the case. I was thinking of how much I love my church/family..anytime I feel upset, I just think of church and how every Sunday when I'm there, it just makes me feel joy and lifts my spirits. I think God has blessed me in so many ways that the whole "work" thing just looks like nothing. Thank you! :)
Hey girl! Hope you guys had a good time in OKC!? Did Josh tell you that Paul bought you guys tickets for Ben Folds? He did, so they wouldn't run out of tickets and you guys could go with our group..my parentals are going by the way..they like him too! See you Sunday~
Hey Tina...how are my Tulsa cousins doing? Did you have a good Valentine's day with your hubby? David and I actually celebrated V-day and our 6 months on the same day. I can't believe it's already been that long. Well, just wanted to see how you were doing. Love you, miss you!
your conversations with a third grader are priceless!! ahh..the good ol' days! so what have you been up to? how's mcclure treating you? sounds like the kids are keeping you entertained, as always!! by the way...july 19th is the date :o) i'm super excited!! i'll send an invitation down for all of you. if you get a chane, tell everyone i said hi!!
Hey! We would, but Paul has to work this Sat. and Sun. night(2-10:30 p.m.) That early evening I'm going to my cousin's birthday dinner..this sucks! I wish we could actually hang out..sad. ;(
That sounds like a cool idea! I love to talk all the time and express my feelings or thoughts..hey, you still need to request Paul as a friend..I told him to, but he just keeps forgetting. ;) When do you and Josh have another free weekend..Paul and I would love to hang out..any weekend would be fine for us, except this one, b/c he's scheduled to work. Let me know..maybe we could all go eat dinner on a Sat. night and go to a movie, or something!? :)
Thanks Tina! We had fun in our one day of snow. David did most of the work on the snowman and was definitely feeling it the next day. Who knew snow could weigh so much?!?! Anyway, I hope you two are doing well...miss you!
It's so funny...mom actually took these photos w/ her new little point and shoot camera she got for Christmas. I was like how did you get that picture?!
