Musicians from Portugal and Sweden joined to communicate their music traditions. Distant in space, under the universal language of music they found new textures and bridges between North and South, one tradition and the other.
The repertoire is about Portuguese and Scandinavian folk music, from Fado songs to Polska dances, brought to the ears by the sound colors of violin, mandolin, Nordic mandola, harmonica and voice.
Simon Stålspets, Sérgio Crisóstomo, Liana and Filip Jers are the faces of this project which brings to stage traditions from their roots.

[GER:]Den Nordischen Klang hört man von weitem. Ab Samstag dem 2. Mai lädt die Stadt Greifswald für eine ganze Woche vor allem Musik, aber auch Kunst, Film und Literatur aus dem Nordischen Raum zu sich nach Hause ein. Die Palette reicht von der “Kunst des negativen Denkens” bis zum popigen Punk-Spass! Das Klangboot versucht diese ohnehin üppig gespickte Veranstaltung durch die heutige Sendung um den Bereich Netaudio zu erweitern. Freie Musik aus Skandinavien, Finnland, aus dem westlichen Teil Russlands, aus dem Baltikum, aus Polen und aus Dänemark ist heute an Board des KLANGBOOTs.
