| About STONEHENGE 91.1FM ATLANTA |
|
Welcome to STONEHENGE.
Hey classic rock fans!
For 20 years now, the Stonehenge show on Atlanta's WREK 91.1fm has brought the very finest and original classic rock to devoted listeners and lovers of the music that you don't hear on commercial 'rock' radio. With the advent of the information age, the show has been available live and archived at www.wrek.org for a number of years, making it possible for an international audience to build. With listeners on both sides of the atlantic, Stonehenge remains committed to diversity, quality, education, mellotron, vinyl and giving the people what they want!
Show times remain 8pm - 12pm Friday, the first hour or so being occupied with the Classic Rock Album of the Week being played in its entirety.
All requests to stonehenge@wrek.org or message us here.
NEW! We have a blog which is updated weekly with a full playlist for each week's show! Click here to visit http://stonehengeatlanta.blogspot.com
Stonehenge: Classic Rock with no commercials, no filler and no limits...
We don't want to hear from contemporary bands looking for airplay, thank you: all of our playlist was written and released over 25 years ago!
UPDATE: because of all of the terrible bands (who have nothing in common with our show, and obviously don't listen to or draw influence from our playlist) asking to be added to our friends list, we have banned friend requests from bands. If you are relevant to our show, local listeners or one of the bands we play on the show, please mail us to be added. All other bands shouldn't bother, as we're really getting sick of you, and you will NOT get on the radio!
