This was a band with no fear surrounding them.

"It is safe to say that a lot of influences find their way into the 4 tracks that make up Straight Jack's EP "Lush," but can they pull it off? With a blues influence combined with rock, alternative, and latin flavored horns, they somehow managed to pull all this together and create a good sound. The female vocalists add a different dynamic to the songs. The lead voice reminded me of Amy Lee's (Evanescence). I was really impressed especially with the middle two tracks of this EP. Straight Jack is worth checking out and I wouldn't be surprised to find them on a stage at next years Milwaukee summer bash.

Competed against over 160 bands in a several battle of the bands to open for a major band and won.
