Beta State is currently accepting vocal auditions from guys and girls. We are open to many different styles but prefer singers in the likes of Circa Survive, MuteMath, Kings of Leon, Copeland, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore, and As Tall As Lions.
To audition, please follow these three steps:

You can use the mp3 or the aif file, your call. You can import one of these into your recording software.
Record what you would naturally record over this track.

Name the file "yournamehere-trackX.mp3" (where yournamehere is actually your actual name. Example: michael_jackson-track3.mp3) and email it to betastatemusic@gmail.com in mp3 format.
You must include some contact info like your phone number and myspace/facebook links.
I agree with the guy two comments below. vvv I want strata back on this...I added it to listen to strata...not "beta state". I'm not saying you wont be good...But for our sakes make a new myspace for beta state...advertised on strata's page. I looove strata with a passion,and It makes me sad not to be able to listen to them on myspace..which is my solemn purpose for myspace..music.

you're guys' music is pretty sick. You guys would have a solid band with some good vocals; something i would seriously consider listening to. Need good lyrics too. whoever you get to sing better have a big imagination. hah. look forward to see who you pick. i would audition, but i dont have time to be in a band right now. maybe ill audition for fun.

The audition tracks sound amazing. If I lived over on your side of the country I'd love to write stuff for it. I'm always making up stuff to go with it, but I'm preoccupied with school.
