I often see you setting up or breaking down in Grand Central. Only once have I actually seen you play. I do like the YouTubes, though.

I suppose I shall have to check out Stratovarius. I know that their keyboardist is the same dude that plays for Kamelot. I like the Kamelot albums Karma through The Black Halo. I have their new album Ghost Opera. I expected alot more than what I received. But the album is still ok. I agree with Rhapsody quality going haywire. I expected Triumph or Agony to be the guitar album of last year, but I suppose having released 2 other non-Rhapsody cds last year must have been why Luca Turilli wasnt on his game for that last album. Strange how alot of people I know think Rhapsody are cheesy. Well, actually I do too, but I am a really big fan of epic movie soundtracks and Rhapsody are one of the few bands I know that have that awesome style. Power Metal is not my fav. genre however. Most of the bands I listen to are categorized as Progressive Metal. I used to call it Symphonic Metal, but 2 weeks ago I stopped. I picked up a book called The Metal Encyclopedia. I realized there that the bands I listen to fell into the progressive category. I didnt buy the book, due to the lack of credibility. I dont think the author is aware of the musicianship existing outside the US of A. Its almost as though the book might as well have been sponsored by MTV or VH1. The reason I say that is because those chanels project the same perception(of what metal is) as the guy whom boldly defended Blind Guardian from a percieved offense on your behalf. So basically the book showed alot of favoritism to mainstream metal. Heck, some Rock bands were even classified as Metal in the book. Well, I suppose I am perhaps being biased on the Rock & Metal differences. What do you think the differences are?

Hello Sir. I greatly enjoy Arab Mafia.
I saw your posted comments on the Rhapsody forum. Most of it was you & another person talking about Blind Guardian. I agreed with everything that you had to say. Especially about how metal is percieved. Such as the fact that he couldnt back up what he was saying. All he could say were his opinions along with aggressive vulgarity which diminishes all professional credibility.(if he had any) I was impressed, however, with how you calmly responded to his offenses. I think he may have felt offended when you did not agree about Hansi being a great vocalist. I have very similar discussions with a comrade on Metallica. However, I cant say much on James Hettfield's vocal imperfections due to the fact that he is also playing guitar unlike Hansi who could dedicate all his energies to vocals.(But according to the yahoo sessions you posted thats not happening)
What is your opinion on the Band Rhapsody by the way?
