STRIPPED was born on Friday September 29,1999 at a sweaty haven [Saks Underground] in deepest Southend-On-Sea,Essex,England.
Inspired by nights such as [RENAISSANCE] and John Digweed..s legendary monthly Thursday nights @ Heaven,London [BEDROCK].STRIPPED was named so because it didnt want to be associated with anything else the town had to offer at the time which was a staple diet of cheesy commercial house or hard house.It wanted to bring the global sound a progressive sound which took in the best forms of house,tech,electronica,tribal,breaks and techno to the its home town.
Over the years the club has grown and grown reaching out far beyond its Essex bounderies with parties and tours from head honcho NORMAN H in London,Brighton,Clacton,Singapore,Bali,Thailand,Koh Samui,Poland,USA,Panama,Colombia with more being planned.
