Stu Wood is a professional guitarist who has been playing for almost 10 years. He has a solid background in live performance playing stage shows, functions, weddings and party events whilst playing the south west music circuit. He is a versitile guitar player who is competent in a variety of different styles and genres including Rock, Funk, Pop, Reggae, Blues, Indie, and many more. The ability to adapt to different styles of music is extremely important to Stu as it effects the audiences perception of the music and their reactions to it. Stu has primarily gigged with local Weymouth covers band "Chemical Alley" amongst others for several years where he has become comfortable singing backing vocals and furthered his live performance experience alongside his education.
Stu has a wide knowledge of the music industry having persued music education including general music studies, guitar studies, and music production at the Academy Of Contemporary Music. This education has furthered his knowledge in areas such as performance, composition, production, business, marketing and promotion.
Stu is currently teaching within the Bournemouth area, covering all aspects of the guitar such as; Technique, music theory, musical repertoire, composition and maintenance aswell as being able to teach what you want to learn.
