subfive was formed in the spring of 1999 and has since toured extensively throughout Scandinavia, continental Europe and Japan. The bands debut-CD, "City of dreams" (2003) has recieved worldwide acclaim among critics and fusion aficionados alike, as well as extensive airplay in several countries. subfive's 2nd studio album, Safari was released in Japan in late 2008, and in Sweden/Europe in spring. subfive recently returned from a successful tour of Japan, visiting Tokyo, Okinawa and Osaka. The band also recorded an album together with Okinawas premier singer/songwriter Carlos Saldana, released in the summer of 2009.
