subfive was formed in the spring of 1999 and has since toured extensively throughout Scandinavia, continental Europe and Japan. The bands debut-CD, "City of dreams" was released in 2003 and has recieved worldwide acclaim among critics and fusion aficionados alike, as well as extensive airplay in several countries. subfive's 2nd studio album, Safari was released in Japan in mid-october, and in Sweden/Europe this winter. subfive recently returned from a 3-week tour of Japan, visiting Tokyo, Okinawa and Osaka. The band is also recording and album together with Okinawas premier singer/songwriter Carlos Saldana, due for release in the summer of 2009.
