Grammy award-winning Sugar Blue has been called the Jimi Hendrix or the Charlie Parker of the harmonica, both appropriate names for the revolutionary and eclectic blues harpist. He grew up listening to jazz - particularly Lester Young and Dexter Gordon - and soon fell in love with Muddy Waters and the blues greats. He has toured and recorded with the Rolling Stones, Willie Dixon, Bob Dylan, Stan Getz, Ray Charles, Frank Zappa, Prince...to name a few... His music is always astonishing and absolutely energetic!!
A heart on fire, blowin' hot from the soul with the force of a gale!

Happy Thanksgiving! Time to be thankful for what we have, for whom we have in our lives and for what we can give to others to make their lives easier. I wish you health & happiness! Lori
Thank you very much for the add! Wow, we're so excited!
We saw you on your first visit to Nagoya and so astonished at your revolutionary play. We took pictures with and got autographs from you. Great memories... It was about 20 years ago, but it seems like yesterday! Later on, our singer(who plays harmonica, too) tried to transcribe every note on your recordings.
Today, you're a great songwriter and still a progressive player. Unfortunately, we SiNG! BaBY SiNG! are no longer called blues players, but we never forget about that very day.
Yo! Sugar! Just caught your cut "Noel News" on Florida's own Smokestack Lightnin' weekly show - only the best get a ride there... Congratz! www.smokestacklightnin.com

Hey Sugar Blue, thanks a lot for your kind comment. It's a real pleasure to have you as the very first writer in our guest book. We are proud that you enjoy our harps.
I'd like to see your pantry, rotate your stock! Seriously!!! A fan called me just the right amount of too much at my concert the other night! I wrote a song about that delicious and naughty theme today! You will LOVE it!!!
