Sunjammer is an eclectic hardcore/industrial/electronica project based in Oslo, Norway, and has been active in the european hardcore scene since 2001, first affiliated with the reknowned UK hardcore label Hardcore Crossbreed.
Sunjammer is recognized for unpredictable live performances, as well as thematically complex and deeply personal vinyl releases on labels such as Hardcore Crossbreed, Zero71 and Bass Rejects.
Influences range from non-sequiteur whims, video games, literature by authors such as HP Lovecraft and Comte de Lautreamont, dungeons & dragons, freezing to bits during the harsh Norwegian winter, substantial consumption of vodka, and, most of all, a constant obsessive compulsive urge to try doing something else. Obvious musical references are Ant-zen, Hymen and Bloody fist records.
