About Sunset Gun

The Sunset Gun was originally fashioned one long dark night by Alice from a cello, a guitar and the contents of a drinks cabinet. She met multi-instrumentalist Samson shortly after, when the two found themselves without a dance partner at a wedding. Having flirted with being a four-piece they've now embraced musical nudity and venture forth as a two-piece comprising any instruments they can lay their hands on.
The Sunset Gun is the name of a collection of poems by Dorothy Parker.
Alice also plays cello in the Mr David Viner band, The Kittens and with Duke Spirit and does dodgy dance vocals for the money.
