A l'inverse des rendez-vous téléguidés, ..Sunshiners.. est bien loin de la commande marketing ou de la compile opportuniste. Sunshiners, c'est la réunion live d'une poignée de français échappés de la grisaille et de quatre voix timbrées des îles du Vanuatu (Pacifique sud). Ensemble, ils ont adapté à leur sauce, version ensoleillée et bonnes vibes posées sur les rives d'un reggae décomplexé, des standards de pop anglaise ayant vécu leurs beaux jours au creux des années 1980. Pas de tubes de l'été qui tienne, donc, Sunshiners est avant tout un groupe de live, pour qui l'entertainment est comme une seconde nature. Après un premier album au succès conséquent (15.000 albums vendus) et deux mois de tournée dans les plus grands festivals français (Solidays, Nice Jazz Festival…) et européens (Womad, Arezzo, Carribana Swiz...), les Sunshiners rentrent chez eux avec plein de souvenirs et l'envie de développer ce projet. Voilà qu'en 2007, ils remettent le couvert avec un second disque riche en (bonnes) surprises : de ..Back In Black.. d'Ac/Dc à ..Come On Eileen.. en passant par le ..Should I Stay Or Should I Go.. des Clash, ce sont pas moins de 12 nouveaux tubes qui sont passés à la moulinette par un groupe qui rivalise d'ingéniosité pour surprendre sans arrêt l'auditeur. ....Welkam Bak Long Vanuatu.... sortira chez ..Ter a Terre / Discograph le 28 avril....... ....Sunshiners - To be loved...... .. .. .. .. ......Ajouter à mon profil... | ..
