About me:

Hi there!

We are Sofia (from Portugal) and Bettina (from Germany) and we've met last year in Lisbon. During February 2006 it rained a lot in Lisbon and as a result we spent many hours at home drinking tea and making handbags for us and for our friends. Thus the "Supergiro" project was born! On Bettina's birthday her mother gave her a sewing machine and we haven't stopped making bags ever since...

We have already had some exhibitions in various venues around Lisbon and participated in the 20th edition of the "Manobras de Maio", a catwalk show that happens every year in Lisbon and promotes the work of emerging portuguese fashion designers.

Now we have a atelier in the center of Lisbon, in campo do ourique.

We make all kinds of bags: big bags, small bags, hand bags.... You can even make your own bag by choosing the fabric and the fittings you want!..
