About me:
Supermarket dj set in Rome. Mark & Astrid* selecting, crossing, breeding.
New Wave (of the OldNewOld Wave), Britishpop, Indielectro, DiscoSynthPunk, electric guitars grafted onto fat beats, lots of love. In the past two years someone would have called it "new rave". Call it how you like it. We just like to label it as "indielectro". But it's always us...
The "Supermarket nights" started in March 2006 at the "Rock Side Pub" in Rome (via Veio 54, San Giovanni area) one Wednesday a month. This is our "historical" flyer-type (from which we took our censored-kid logo/avatar). For this season 2008/2009 we chose not have any sort of steady "residency", preferring to collaborate alternately with different clubs (mainly with Circolo degli Artisti).

Init, Artù Cafè/Time Tunnel, Locanda Atlantide, Alien, Galleria dei Serpenti, Open Bar (Ostia), Smart Club, Studio18, Mads, Balic, Brancaleone, Goa, Fleur Lounge Bar, Officine Pigneto, Lanificio, Circus Cafè. And other "unusual" locations: EUR lake, Terme di Caracalla,
Fnac record store, Università Roma Tre. In Italy in: Perugia, Lecce, Sassari, Recanati (MC), Ancona, Viterbo.
In Rome we also served as supporting djs for: 1990s, Neils Children, Blood Red Shoes,
We Smoke Fags, Trash Fashion, Clarky Cat, Polysics, Art Brut, The Wombats, Look See Proof, Kap Bambino plus - of course - a lot of amazing italian bands :)
