Switchblade are no strangers to the Australian metal scene. This fiercely independent band have built a solid national reputation based on hard work and determination.
Following multiple national tours and supports with Slayer (USA), Machine Head (USA), Trivium (USA), Nevermore (USA), and an appearance at Australia’s largest metal festival, Metal For The Brain, the band was to cease all activity, and resurface with a new album, a new resolve, and a new musical vision designed to re-affirm their position as a dominating force in Australian metal.
Enter the new album, “Invictus Infinitum”. Nine tracks of blistering guitar solos, relentless down-tuned riffs and a vicious vocal attack, all while introducing a maturity and melodic sensibility not yet heard from this Sydney quintet.
