Swedish for Beginners are a Swedish pop orchestra, playing guitar-based indie pop with a lot of electronica and vocal harmonies, described at one point as the affinity between The Smiths and The Beach Boys.
Swedish for Beginners started out in 2006 as a one-man project of vocalist and songwriter Johan Signert, but soon evolved to a live band. In late 2007, Swedish for Beginners was the only Swedish band to perform att the legendary In The City festival in Manchester, UK. Swedish For Beginners attracted the attention of producer Ollie Olson, who has previously worked with Sugarplum Fairy, Robyn, I'm From Barcelona, Teddybears STHLM and many more.

Hej där! Nu på lördag(11/7) är det dags för vår sista spelning! Mycket välkommen på avslutningsspelning på Galleri Oro(Majorna), 50:- inträde, insläpp kl. 20. Small Boobie Band, Grafitta, Extended Heads och habibis på scen. Dj Kangaroo spelar plattor nästan hela kvällen. Kakor för dem som kommer tidigt och salta pinnar för dem som kommer sent. Hoppas vi ses! kom och dansa med oss! mycket välkommen allt gott/småtuttarna
Jeg driver å jobber med en festival til høsten som kanskje kunne vært noe for dere. Skal si ifra når jeg har noe konkret. Ellers så er det bare å komme når dere føler for det. Prøv helst å kom til et sted som har alder under 20 siden jeg bare er 19 ville det vært kjipt å gå glipp av dere.
