Formed in October, 2007 by Oraku and Oxy, Sweet Dead Corpse is meant to be catharsis of their dearest wishes. Of course carried towards the fantastic, their first album « Cabaret of Souls » turn therefore in this sense there and this first opus gets ready to go out.
Liking to reconcile several forms of art around the same plan to give a contents both on the bottom and on form, Oxy and Oraku decided to blend three artistic worlds in the same album : Besides a musical party, you will find in "The Cabaret of Souls", a booklet consisting of the novel of the "Cabaret" as well as a booklet regrouping persons with a strong visual sense illustrating each of the parties of the book.
Blending indus rhythms and classical melodies, songs think they are at the same time unhealthy, strange, disturbing or conversely they are absolutely enchanting. Served by lyrics singing and light grunts, the music offered in the first album of Sweet Dead Corpse, take the listeners in an another epoch.
Come to discover the world of the ghosts of the theatre, go back up a century before and let train by the small girl ghost.

Souhaitant concilier plusieurs formes d’art autour d’un même projet pour offrir un contenu tant sur le fond que sur la forme, Oxy et Oraku ont décidés de mêler trois univers artistiques dans un même album : En plus d’une partie musicale, vous trouverez dans Le Cabaret des Ames, un livret comprenant la nouvelle du Cabaret des Ames ainsi qu’un livret regroupant les visuels illustrant chacune des parties du livre.
Mêlant rythmes indus et mélodies classiques, les chansons se trouvent à la fois malsaines, étranges, dérangeantes ou inversement complètement féeriques. Servies par du chant lyrique et de légers grunts, la musique proposée dans le premier album de Sweet Dead Corpse, Cabaret des Ames, emmène l’auditeur dans une autre époque.
Venez découvrir l’univers des spectres du théâtre, remontez un siècle avant et laissez vous entraîner par la petite fille fantôme.

Hello Sweet Dead Corpse. Un petit commentaire qui reprend ma demande d'add. Un concept intéressant avec une ambiance malsaine et cabaret, un jeu remarquable sur les voix, une bonne production. J'ai lu les extraits en ligne de la nouvelle et j'ai regardé les art work. un beau travail complet et totalement décadent. J'adore. Je vous souhaite beaucoup de succès.
