Sweet Tea is a side project formed in 2009 by friends Alex Maas ..(Black Angels).. and Erika Wennerstrom ..(Heartless Bastards)... The duo spent a day in the studio this spring covering two amazing classic country duets, “If I Were a Carpenter” and “Crazy Arms”. They’ll be releasing the songs digitally on iTunes mid July. ..Fat Possum.. is pressing a limited edition Sweet Tea 7”, which will be available in indie retail outlets early August, though fans won’t have to wait that long to get their hands on a copy. Check out a live ..Bastards.. or ..Black Angels.. show this summer, both bands will be selling copies on the road as well as in each band’s webstore.
