BAND BIOGRAPHY
Swissair describe their style as airy, semi-electronic pop music. By subtracting elements from the songs, they use the spaces like the painter makes use of the white in the canvas. The aim is to create the feeling of laying back and still moving forward, smoothly, at great speed. Sort of sitting in an airplane seat, one might say.
Things got started with Erik and Henrik trying out a few song ideas at Henrik's place. For the sake of good neighbourship, the original idea of using a Hammond organ was dismissed in favour of an electrical piano, plugged into a tiny guitar amp. Their good friend Anders' drum machine proved to be a perfect complement. Over a nice thai-food meal, home studio owner Sven finally accepted the position as guitar player.
In the late summer of 2005, three songs were recorded and then distributed over the Internet. English indie-enthusiast Alistair Fitchett liked the material so much that he released them as an 3" EP on his own record-label, I Wish I Was Unpopular. Just in time for the first live show, Henrik's younger brother David was recruited as a bass player.
Since then, Swissair have put together a few more songs and made live performances all over Gothenburg. However, the band members busy lifestyles (involving scientific research in the field of neurophysiology), made the process of recording the new material a difficult one. It wasn't until early summer 2007 that the band finally released their second EP, entitled Second-Timer in C minor.
My latest album is collection of songs that didn't fit on my previous records. They are not the songs that weren't good enough, i would never release such an album, just the ones that had no obvious place in the hole of my two last records (plus some new songs). So don't just take them as previously unreleased songs, take them simply as songs. Good songs hopefully.

Men riktigt bra!:) Kramkram
Hej,how are you guys doing today? It's a bar at the second floor. With a backyard behide, and a church. You can do barbecue there, haha.Anyway, hope I can have chance to see your live concert again! Cheers!
Thank you for adding! Your music is very good. But I didn't really get into the bar that night when you had live concert, were too many people inside,so me and my friends were standding outside of the backyard of the bar, haha.Still nice tho!
/Christian
