   About Sword of Exactly
Our collective desire is to play music that excites & challenges us. We think that if we can find some intoxication from creation & performance, & support ourselves even a little bit while doing it, all of this effort will be worth something. Frankly all of this is just an excuse to play constantly. So you should come see us. We won't be running full-page ads in Spin, or parading around like rock star clothes whores, but you will see something musical, emotional, fucking real. Off the very top o my head, here are some bands we've had anywhere from the greatest pleasure to the greatest displeasure to share the stage with, in absolutely no order: tara jane o-neil, the building press, dianogah, cheer accident, mt. eerie, 31 knots, kayo dot, us maple, will whitmore, the ants, the french kicks, skeleton key, ambulance ltd., xiu xiu, bee & flower, the paper chase, mirah, the six parts seven, the beauty pill, the fruit bats, paper lions, jucifer, john vanderslice, the mountain goats, devandra banhart, meth and goats, the autumn project, nameless numberhead man, shaun na na, the international playboys, the liverhearts, dig shovel dig, the housebreakers, ZZZs, wind-up bird, old time relijun, ad frank (of the fast & easy women), ralph jones band, the blame game, the ills, larkness, har mar superstar, instrumental quarter, transponder, the show is the rainbow, troubled hubble, june panic, oh my god, lock and key, neva dinova, race for titles, sicbay, fawn fables, azita

Hey, Evelyn, can you post some Sword of Exactly/Frankenixon vids somewhere?

Even though you guys aren't marketing yourselves very well as of late, there are still a lot of your fans out there, and we're having trouble even reminding people of your existence. For example, I was trying to send my parents some videos of excellent musicians with ties to Ames, IA, and I wanted to send them vids of you guys performing, but for the life of me, I can't find any. But I was able to find someone who opened for some show you had in Bloomington, IN in the last week... so can you *PLEASE* put something up there. It's not that hard to utilize the many internet media readily available to you.

Even if you don't want to be famous or propagate your career, just put evidence of your greatness out there so that those of us who reminisce about the time you were actively performing and sharing can relive it to some extent.
Thank you!
Arise, Devilfish
