Formed in Sydney, Australia, in 2006, Sword Toward Self perform neoclassical extreme metal built on a foundation of death, black and thrash metal influences. Complimenting this are elements more introspective and dynamic than might be expected of most metal bands, combined with a lyrical approach that is articulate and philosophical. The result is as challenging and unapologetically artistic as it is punishing, reaching toward a powerful vision of the future of metal from the tap root of its history.

I was worried for a bit that you'd overwhelm yourself with too many exciting side projects. ;-) I guess that's the tradeoff for being multi-talented, being busy all the time, haha. Plus, I'm sure Matt's acquired a number of new injuries in the past month! I had 3 exams last week, so things were rather hectic, and I'm not too sure how well I did. I have just one more left, and it's for my favourite subject so I'm hoping for something good on it. Yeah, I turn 18 soon, and my Uni break is coming up, so should I be keeping an ear out for any possible STS or Ironwood shows? :P
