definately a podcast with all the best in electronic music!
I'm just a individual who enjoys better music, i also like producing a myriad of electronic genre's anything from minimal, glitch, house, breakbeat and especially, drum and bass. i think electronic music is one of the best "user definable" music's out there and whether u think u dislike electronic music or not i garentee u just have not heard the right song to make u believe in the same cause i share, that we shouldnt be blanketed by a genre such as pop music but to be more culturally and musically aware of our surroundings by choosing a higher form of musical predilection.
in late 2004 DJ Sylock was introduced to Lime Green Shirt. which is a promotions company that operates out of the greater western michigan area. helping to promote better electronic music events and utilize venues appropriately for the working DJ while not compromising their artist choices LGS has worked with or played at some of the top club/venues in the respected region as well as splinter celling out to places such as; Detroit, NYC, Chicago and so on. LGS also is known in the business for a product known as Black Ice, a slipmat that allows the maximum amount of control and torque on the platter of the turntable, while reducing static discharge by 54% (to find out more check it out at Doitonice.com).
aside from that LGS also enjoys giving back to the community. in 2007 Festival of the Arts received their first electronic performance, featuring DJ Sylock, DJ Archangel and DJ Aegis. once again returning in 2008. (festival of the arts being a volunteer only festival, and one of the largest of its kind in the united states topping around close to 1 million in traffic over the course of a weekend.)
i've been making music for about 8 years, DJing for about 2.5 yrs. i'am part of a electronic music promotional company known as LIME GREEN SHIRT, which operates mostly out of the greater west michigan area(if u wanna learn a lil more about it u can find us by clicking on Lime Green Shirt LLC in my top friends list :D )
