About SYN - New Album OUT NOW!!! (New Video Online)

SYN was gathered in december 2004 cursing the neighbor who called the police during every repetition : « Smash Your Neighbor ! ». The band was created by Julien Gibon, Thibaut Métier and Yann Métier, it first directed towards a metal 80’s music style until Florian Legros showed up at drums. After that the musical style of SYN became more succeeded with voices thrash/hardcore, heavy and agressive guitars, and fast and more technical drum parts. This change of style led Yann Metier to leave the group at the end of the year 2005.
After the recording of a 5 track demo in April 2006, Maxime Legros joined the group as bassist. Then, SYN started to give concerts in the north of France and recorded a 7 track EP with a better sound than the other (drums were recorded in a studio).
In October 2006 Aurélien Schwalek joined the band as singer in order to improve the dynamism of SYN’s performances. Nowadays François Noblecourt from Hengeyokais Prod. is in charge of managing and booking.

SYN is ready to have a place at the foreground of the French metal stage.

SYN is currently searching concerts everywhere in France and Europe.

SYN est né en décembre 2004 en maudissant le voisin qui envoyait la police lors de chaque répétition : "Smash Your Neighbor!". Formé tout d’abord avec Julien Gibon , Thibaut Métier et Yann Métier. Le groupe s'est d’abord orienté vers un style métal 80's jusqu'à l'arrivée de Florian Legros à la batterie. Dès lors le style musical de SYN est devenu plus abouti avec des voix plus thrash / hardcore, des guitares lourdes et agressives et des rythmiques de batteries plus rapides et plus techniques. Ce changement de style amena Yann Métier à quitter le groupe en fin d’année 2005. Après l'enregistrement d’une démo 5 titres en avril 2006, Maxime Legros intègre le groupe en temps que bassiste. SYN commence alors à tourner dans la région Nord-Pas-de-Calais et dans les régions alentours. Le groupe enregistre une démo 7 titres en juillet/août 2006 (Batterie studio).
En octobre 2006 Aurélien Schwalek intègre le groupe en tant que chanteur à part entière pour donner une nouvelle dynamique scénique. SYN est alors managé par François Noblecourt d’Hengeyokais Prod.
Frédéric Wedeux (ex Gokstad) et Bertrand Oria (ex Dylath-Leen) intègrent alors le groupe durant la rentrée 2007.
SYN enregistre leur premier album en juillet/août 2007 au Studio IMAGINE AUDIO avec Dimitri Dupire. Rémy Délier (Ahdden Team) s’occupe ensuite du mixage et du mastering en février 2008. « ROAD TO RUIN » sera dans les bacs en avril 2008.

SYN est maintenant prêt à mettre un gros coup de pied dans la fourmilière du métal français.
