About Takaaki Suzuki

感情を絡み合う旋律に委ね、
内に秘めた私的風景やシナリオを音で描写する。

Far North Organic Electronica レーベル [ Ihatov Remains ] 主宰。
札幌在住の音楽家。

幼少期から、ピアノを始めとする様々な楽器を独学で習得し、
やがて静寂から頭の中の架空音楽を聴くようになる。

2002年、ニューヨークに移住。

様々な文化に触れ、独自の作曲方法を見出し、
音楽家としての活動が本格化する一方で、
DJとしてもまた、国境の無い感性を養っていく。

今も尚、多様性を増す、彼の自由な楽曲群は、
優に100を超え、もはや一つのジャンルに収める事は難しい。

2008年、自身のレーベルから、
1st アルバム「open the outdoors 」を発表。

話題が先行した、海外での評価が高く、
その名を世界に広めるきっかけとなった。

現在は、地元札幌で [ SYNAPSE ] の一員として、
精力的なライブ活動やDJ を重ね、
医療としての音楽の研究やボランティア活動等も同時に行い、
国内外を問わず、幅広く活動中。

2009年7月、
待望の 2nd フルアルバム「Starlight story 」を遂にリリース。
