The Skinny, 2008 ones to watch "If you like your hooks heavier, look out for Glasgow based experimentalists Take A Worm For A Walk Week. A renowned live act, their riotous noise-core showcases the dexterity that comes with their anarchy. Last year's full on self titled LP pushed boundaries within the genre, yet the band simply describe themselves as 'Rock, Rock, Rock, and frankly, we couldn't have put it better ourselves"
Rock Sound 8/10 album review
This is wrong… very, very wrong. Hurtling forth like brutal truth played backwards while a zombie Jacob Bannon gargles battery acid. Tawfaww’s 15-minute debut will leave you feeling disorientated, irreparably violated and with a charred and bloody mess where your face used to be. Highly recommended, obviously.
Kerrang KKKK album review Don’t let the heroically stupid name put you off: Take A Worm For A walk week are a satisfyingly nasty proposition. Coughing up bloody chunks of matted sonic bile and stop start rhythmic stomach lining, these Glaswegian reprobates lurch and retch their way through 13 savage and abrupt bursts of slack jawed crusty grindcore, imbued with the heavy lidded, nihilistic, bottle draining spirit of eye hate god or buzzoven. Produced by Aereogramme's Ian Cook, this is a raw and unforgiving 15 minute terror attack with all the mainstream appeal of a snuff movie. That’s a glowing recommendation by the way.

MMR014 TAKE A WORM FOR A WALK WEEK - TAKE A WORM FOR A WALK WEEK (CD)
About as subtle as a knife to the face, as grating as feeding your hand into a mincer, Take a Worm for a Walk Week thrust their riffs down your throat, then scream them into your bowels. Tech as fuck, fast and hard, mixing the intensity of Eyehategod with the speed of Agoraphobic Nosebleed, and almost Jacob Bannon esce vocals. Hailing from Glasgow, featuring ex-members of Torqamada, their self-titled album weighs in with 13 tracks.
