    Take to the Seas are a four-piece indie rock band from Sheffield, England. They released a two track EP on Favourite Tree Records in March 2009, and are currently working on a second. They have had positive reviews in magazines such as Sandman magazine and have had airplay on BBC Radio Sheffield's Raw Talent and on Tom Robinson's radio show on BBC 6 music.

Take To The Seas are a four-piece indie rock band. We formed in Sheffield in 2009, but due to Ben’s sexually aggressive nature Matt has recently moved to Leeds. We released a two track EP on Favourite Tree Records in 2009. We’re currently working on a second E.P. and an album after a short university related break. We drink more Um Bongo than we should. We’ve been played on BBC Radio Sheffield and BBC 6 music. We enthusiastically partake in aerobic exercise, and we always try to get our five a day. We’ll be playing lots in Sheffield and Leeds over the coming months, so put on your best sweater and come say hello!
