WE ARE TALC

It's in capital letters so it must be good and shouty. We're two people called James Knight and Nichol Thomson but we use our Talc names, Dr. Fun and the Gift. It makes us laugh, it's purile and silly but there you go. If you play on our records you get your own Talc name instead of getting paid. Rubbish but it's something. We're on our second album now, "Licensed Premises Lifestyle". It's about the pub in your mind, a beautiful place full of wonderful things. Actually it's just about the pub and the people that drink there, what they drink and how. Sort of. To be honest, you'll just have to buy it with your pennies that you've saved by not eating chocolate for a month. Either way it was made with love (in a non-hippy way) for your ears. It features lots of our favorite musicians as well, all of whom played so well that we cried a little bit. That's the truth, it was moving...and it still is.

You can still get the first album "Sit Down Think" which is just ourselves playing everything. It took YEARS to make but we loved every minute of it. We think that comes across. Sometimes we do gigs. They're great fun and everyone thinks we should do more. So do we but we're a bit rubbish at organizing things. Thanks for reading and listening, it means a lot. And remember, it's nice to be nice.....

radipapa	Aug 2 2008 12:57 PM it's you we crave don't upgrade... when i listened to the end part of "wonderbar" (just like ernie's!!) , i felt that i should not listen all through the album in short time. the shock i got was so big...i changed music in a hurry for the first time. at last , i returned to the album since i listened to other music a lot on the way..."steely dan" , "doobies" , "la bounty" , "sit down think"... and so on. you have made masterpiece!!
