i have been listenig lots of different musicians, but i have been strongly influenced by venetians snares, aphex twin, end.user, bong ra, shitmat, blaerg, dev/null, ladyscraper, drumcorps, duran duran duran, producer snafu(cooooolllll).....
i mean all that twisted beat frenzy makes my day. but i am also listenning to free jazz improvisation, love fantomas(you are the ones!), mike patton was and has always been a big influence on me, directors cut and suspend animation have got to be the most insane and creative work ever......
prodigy no comments. these guys are exrtreme. i am just a huge fan.
when yuppies go to hell(great stuff), captain beefheart and the magic band(how psicodelic was that!).....i like guitar players as well....some times i listen to heavy metal, shit like dream theater is aways extremelly nice to my ears.....and also shit like fuck on the beach, extreme noise terror, slipknot, marilyn manson(i love your "antichrist superstar" ep, that's sick), antichrist superstar is the one i really like.
beck, one of my favorite musicians off all times for all he's done in music and art. but i get most of my ideas from art, generally, i write, i read poems and help my mum to clean the house, you know, i believe i am more like a freak that looks like a geek......does anyone read this shit, anyway?!?!....
if you are reading it, i've got to say that i've been listenning to a lot of things like Thiaz Itch, Yvan&Lendl, Vernon LeNoir, JeRe, Tep, Deework... recently and i believe a lot of these guys and the artists playing on cannibal canniche radio, like from labels such as dtrash, byteburger, bedroomresearch and stuff like that, have been doing some great work. do keep up folks :)
now, recently i've been listennig to some ambient noise and abstract jazz improvisation, like avant garde music with no structure at all. my mood has gone from bad to worst recently and most of the time i have some weird shit on my headphones, specialy from HALAS. i have also been listenning to some melodic IDM from CLIQHOP to kinda balance it out those harsh noise and chaotic vibrations from the avant garde live experiments. i definally dont know where im going with it but i am always trying to find new sorts of inspirations, so.......expect the unexpected
i own you so much. big respect
BASQUIAT by far my favourite artist
what?!?!?!
i am extremelly nosy
nature is cruel
Sounds Like
i believe my sound is like a fairy tale, twisted and bent. i am a big fan of collage so i try to use different elements or samples and effects to my criations in order to come up with some weird sequence of events. the point i am trying to make is that two differente styles can be used in the same song. somehow. i tried, anyway.
i focus particularly on the beats and textures. i love to create textures and twisted beats and layer them up using the idea of chance to see what comes out of it. normaly shit happens but and perhaps nothing happens at all....
it's a concept in development, it will grow as time goes by and perhaps it will be totally changed as shit happens throughtout my humble and fucked up existence. as long as i am having fun doing it, i will continue.
it sounds like a tale that has a starting point but noone knows where it goes from there. it is like a journey, that begins in brasil and ends up in kuala lampur, or something :) it's like a baloon caught up in the middle of a hurricane, it is like playing football in total darkness. you should have got the point by now.........you either love or hate. that's the only certanty about my music
and by the way, i like when its dark and hard and fucked up.

EGO TWISTER'S MOVIE RUINERS COMPILATION
tale twist is an experimentation with sounds basically, that one might say turns into music. after finishing my degree in graphic design and art direction, living in manchester, england for 4 years, i came across the mighty john peel show on bbc' s radio one and from that point on i believe my life has never being the same....... he started it all, really. i mean that show was extremelly rich, he used to play tunes from all over the globe, the pig pigs 78 was just class....i loved that part of the show.....but any how.....i still got all the tapes i recorded from those lonely nights.....
moving on i started off having an urge to make electronic music. i used to be a headbanger and i used to play guitar in a heavy metal band called "sanatariun" and since then i tryed to make music that was like two or three styles in one, like a mix within a song, therefore i normally try to create something that actually celebrate the diversity of styles and genres. that' s my intention any way. composers like john cage and the movement called serialism and fluxus, inspired me to create music, and art in general. influenced by the notion of 'chance', instead of following some sort of tone or sequential narrative. i try to create ramdom sequences and unexpected turns and twists to my creations.....
i believe i' ve got a lot to do and eventhough i haven' t got all the gear and shit musicians normally have, I'VE GOT a lot of MOTIVATION AND PASSION. i try to make the most of what i (dont)have and the most important have fun throught the process. i' ve been learning how to live with desapointments and stand up after each fall, but i believe i am on the right track now and it' s going to be great living from now on.
i have been a 'budhist' for a while and those teachings have actually helped me to cope with all the shit i have come across recently. without it i probably would be in a mental hospital by now. most of the time people try to make me misarable and control me somehow, but they might take my material stuff but they will never take my freedom and the real freedom lays in my mind, in my heart, in my imagination.....
i have also been doing some work in video and i normally use the same idea to create my videos as well. i have always been inspired by the works of nan june paik and some early filmmakers that actually started it all, using the compositions to express an idea, instead of just adding effects to make it look good. lev manovich is a great font of inspiration and a resourse to people who want to learn more about media and what has been happening with the new media art. i am also deeply inspired by the works of david lynch, roman polansky (rosemary's baby) and others directors like james mangold (identity), Park Chan-wook (oldboy), Darren Aronofsky (requiem for a dream), lock stock and two smoking barrels is funny as fuck and there's a little story behind that movie.....i lived in amsterdam for 6 months and i was in a house where there was a tv without reception. but there was a vcr and some movies and one of them was that one and i used to smoke that lovelly skunk and piss myself laughing and i watched that movie over and over again and i will always remmenber that time when i almost starved to death trying to get a job there, but anyway......American Beauty (Sam Mendes) is one of my favourites, the end is just extremelly beautifull, tragic but very creative, when the guy finally finds happiness he gets shot and die, i mean that idea is sick really...., Babel, Amores Perros (Alejandro González Iñárritu), Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry), Planet Terror (Robert Rodriguez), and all those twisted heads out there.....keep up :)
i am a big fan of cartoons. as you might have realised, i love FAMILY GUY, i think is one of the best cartoons ever. my favorite charactor is STEWIE for all his personality, he's a baby, an evil baby who wants to kill his mother or as he calls her "Louis". there's a lot of social critique and every line is a joke or a creative expression. the whole family is quite disfuntional and there is a lot of things that should be looked at. so don't be fooled by the kinda simple drawings. this cartoon is tottaly twisted.
