The result is the musical and lyrical concept in the mind of keyboardist and composer Ralph Swan. Again and again he took temporary project musicians to realize his musical visions. With a 4-track EP and various concerts with support for Fates Warning, Mind Odyssey, Sieges Even, etc. Due to the positive reviews from the media, fans and not least of the musicians the band was found in 2007.

In early 2008, the album "Among Grey Masks" taken in self-distributed and collected excellent reviews. At this time, manifested the solid line-up Tangent Plane: Ralph Swan Krieger (GER) - Keyboards, Kostas Kontos (GRE) - bass, the guitarist Piero Pellegrino (ITA), the singer Jan Michaelis (GER), and the drummer Dennis Hoffmann (GER ).

Early 2010 the band worked in the studio with C. Schmid and RD Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Suicidal Angels, Orden Ogan, Eldritch, etc.) the first part of the "Project Elimi" trilogy. In May 2010 the band signed at 7Hard Records.
