About Tango In The Attic

Tango In The Attic formed in Glenrothes in early 2008. Each of the five members brings a different influence to the band and together they add a new and colourful sound to the growing Fife music scene. Taking heed from such bands as The Strokes and Vampire Weekend, their sound can be described as a Scottish version of East Coast Lo-Fi Garage. Using a varied instrumentation they continually conjure up energetic and engaging live performances bringing crowds in underground venues across Scotland alive.

"They're young, they're fresh, they get sweaty onstage and they make an ace noise! Tango in the Attic combine Vampire Weekends singalongs with Strokes-style riffing topped-off with a real emotional edge. It's all done with Fife accents and tunes to die for! As long as at least 1/2 your band are 21 or under,unemployed, or full time students, you can hire any rehearsal room on Sundays for £6 an hour.Simply bring up proof of status on your first visit and thats you set!
