What's up The Tapeaters? Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. Panoramic aromavision is the future. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. You turn the atmosphere ablaze with currents of sweet ethylene when you smile. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. What wonderful vibrations you are capable of. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. All my thoughts are lost to your graceful gaze? I keep searching for you between the cushions.

Bio
The history of The Tapeaters duet (from the words tape and eaters) began in 2009 when Vadim Pukhov (vocals, synthesizers, guitars) and Dmitri Kozlov (synthesizers, talkbox) after years of participating in various projects have decided to try to write a couple of songs together. One day, cleaning up the mess in my closet - sais Vadim - I found some old demo tapes that we'd recorded back in 1999 or so. Just for fun I put one in a tape recorder and .... just got stunned! To spend so many years in search of musical ideas and ignore something that is so very close to you! I called Dmitri, and we immediately got to work. The band name also came very quickly - one of the tapes got stuck inside the recorder, the recorder kind of ate it. The first EP, released in 2009 has an actual electropop sound. It took two months to record it. The Tapeaters is a sensuous, airy vocals, soft sound of an vintage Moog synthesizer and dance beats, sending listeners to the golden heyday of electronic music. In their works, they regularly use the characteristic elements of the 80's new wave , funk and electropop, combining it all to their own musical taste. We really like the sound of the early 80's, - explains Vadim and Dmitri, - this period of electrofunk and disco, when synthesizers took over the minds of musicians. That's the music we always wanted to do. We simply take you back to early 90's, cassette tapes, ghettoblasters, raves, the spirit of freedom, well, you know.
