Tape Club Records is a record label in the UK, not too far from that little place London. We release music on cassette tapes. We also make records. And a few CDs. All of our artists are friends, and we do this because we like it. The doodley bits that you see on all of our teeshirts, records and posters are done in-house by our super-dooper art squad. Most things we do are limited, a lot of the tapes have sold out, and the tee shirts go mega fast. But the more you buy, the more we'll supply, simple as that.
We love everyone who supports us, and we are all music geeks. Write to us, message us, come and say hello, or just throw a lofty high five at us. We'll respond to it all. x

Traktor from Sweden, which are not only highly considered in circles of connoisseurs because of their extraordinary live qualities, perfect their grim chaos-core on their first full length, entitled Lights. The typical Traktor sound from the early days with indigestive breaks and dissonant guitar riffs in the vein of famous San Diego bands like Drive Like Jehu or Swing Kids is getting enobled with dark & calm passages. Although the album was mastered in the much sought-after Tonteknik-Studio in Umeå, the regulary comparisons to Refused or early JR Ewing are less present, then genre bulks like Lack or Breach. Lights is an album designed for a cheerless winter, post-hardcore between aggression & depression.

The launch of
the first in history man-made sputnik was held on 4th October 1957.
This day is considered to be the beginning of the mankind space era. The first
man-made sputnik was placed into orbit by a rocket vehicle from Baikonur
spaceport. A radio beacon was installed on a board of sputnik for monitoring
the flight and carrying out an investigation.
